　　埃斯特·威廉姆斯还曾是一名跳水运动员，差点就参加了1940年的赫尔辛基奥运会。改行为电影演员后，她在20世纪40、50年代拍摄了一系列风靡一时的水上音乐电影，成为当时好莱坞最赚钱的明星之一。
